Saayaz Couture is a contemporary line of designer pakistani apparel based in Pakistan, India, Iran and parts of Arabia, founded by Saay and Aaz. Now owned by the Shah Group of Companies, Saayaz is known for their handstiched designer clothing made only with the finest imported materials from the east aswell as the swarovski and czech crystal embedded accessories and footwear. The line is sold in upscale department stores in Pakistan and speciality stores in Iran and Arabia. The clothes are often associated with/by the many celebrities who wear them

Slogans often adorn Saayaz apparel, such as "For Nice Girls Who Like Stuff" "Smells Like Couture" "Be Saay" "Cupid Couture" Viva la Yaaz" "Her Royal Yaazness" "Wake up and smell the Couture", " Go Couture Yourself", "Cupcake Couture","Bundle Up, Wear Aay and Naaz", " The Joy Only Bling Can Bring", "Peace, Love, and Saayaz", "Have a Yaaz an Aaz Day", and "Dude, Where's my Couture?". Some less usual slogans are "Save Fashion Wear Saay and Aaz", "Santa Saayaz is Real" and "Sugar & Spice and Everything Saayazy."

History

Saayaz was orginally set up to provide a retail gateway to the wider market for small communities in need of work in third world countries. The Founder enjoyed travelling but when visiting the third world coutries was sadened by the Poorer communities working all hours in the day to provide food for their families. Seeing such struggle and wanting to help them in a positive way rather than donations The founder set up the Saayaz Company and wereever possible had their products manufactured and produced by the poorer communities and paid well.  

The Brand was named Saayaz after the Urdu Term Saayaz which means shadow. As the founder stated

"We are a shadow for the less fortunate and should do best by them and help them in any way possible"

Ever Since the company has ensured that they comply with Fair trade regulations and offer the best products in the lowest possible price whilst benefiting the less fortunate rather than themselves.

Saayaz in the UK

Saayaz entered the UK Market in 2005 with outlets in London and Birmingham. With High Demand from all over the UK for Saayaz Quality  products and the fast evolving online asian market the UK Board of Directors took a major decision and moved all activity online into one channel of distribution for all. Saayaz online has since been trading online. In 2008 major investment went into the redevlopment of  the business and the website making it a unique online shopping experience.
